A celebration of the LGBT+ community, allies, and change.

The LGBT+ Diamonds Awards is an unique event aimed at thanking and appreciating those who are actively working to create a friendly and respectful work environment for LGBT+ people in Poland. It is a platform that unites the forces of responsible business, activists, and non-governmental organizations. At its core are the people and their authentic commitment to building a culture based on equality and mutual understanding.

There is one goal: to support change

For years, Poland has ranked low in the Rainbow Europe ranking, which assesses the level of equal rights for LGBT+ people. The competition was created in 2018 as a grassroots initiative in response to this challenge. Its mission is:

  • Appreciating and rewarding the community and all allies whose example inspires others to act.

  • Building a broad community of people and organizations for whom human rights and dignity are fundamental values.

  • Promoting the idea that inclusivity, openness, and diversity are universal values that enrich the entire society.

  • Inspiring the creation of inclusive workplaces - we recognize initiatives that serve as a model for building an open and safe organizational culture.

The 7th LGBT+ Diamonds Awards will return in spring 2026!

The competition will recognize companies, non-governmental organizations, and individuals who set an example in creating an appropriate organizational culture and a friendly environment. After the official part, dedicated to celebrating the awardees, an informal part will take place, providing a perfect opportunity for networking and fun.

LGBT+ Workplace Barometer Report

In the 7th edition of the event, we're introducing a new pillar – the LGBT+ Workplace Barometer Report. This research project aims to assess the mood, challenges, and needs of the LGBT+ community in Polish companies and identify best practices in the area of DEI. The report will serve as a practical guide for companies, helping them develop activities for the LGBT+ community. It will be launched during the conference accompanying the gala.
